WHAT: The assignment was to design a small "city car" similar to the SmartCar.

WHY: I wanted something that could be curvy but angular, in reaction to the aerodynamic "bubble cars" you see on the road. I sketched a car that was small and cute, but had enough right angles to be interesting.
